Introduction to Exposed Aggregate Concrete Exterior Walls
In the design of this project, apart from the office side, which adopts glass curtain walls, the rest features extensive exposed aggregate concrete exterior walls. To achieve a high-precision finish for the exposed aggregate concrete, the project team conducted material selection and a 1:1 physical model construction simulation before construction. They rigorously reviewed, integrated, and confirmed the construction procedures. During construction, strict quality control measures were implemented, with thorough inspections at each stage, ultimately meeting the high-quality standards of this project. This has resulted in the delivery of an exquisite, perfect, and timeless building for the owner.。
Exposed Aggregate Concrete Formwork Selection and Physical Model Process"
The process is as shown in the diagram
Step 1
Inspecting surface samples of small-sized panels.
Providing various small-sized panels with different patterns for architects and owners to confirm the exposed aggregate concrete surface and segmentation choices.
Step 2
Checking the water absorption and construction characteristics of the formwork panels, this project confirms the use of Finland boards.
Step 3
Trial production of vertical exposed aggregate concrete walls to confirm whether the finish meets requirements; also, reviewing water leakage phenomena and proposing improvement measures.
Step 4
Combining curtain walls with exposed aggregate concrete walls, a 1:1 physical model is constructed to confirm the overall processes and quality requirements
Step 5
